This grape grows on the foothills of the Oltrepò Pavese region, where fog gives way to sunshine. Luce, the traditional method sparkling wine by Torrazzetta

The Pinot Noir sparkling wine produced with the traditional method by the Torrazzetta winery and farmhouse in Borgo Priolo, on the Oltrepò Pavese region presented by Sergio Fiori is called Luce! In fact, the grape grows on the foothills of the Oltrepò Pavese region, where the fog of the Pò valley gives way to sunshine.

Luce is a dry sparkling wine produced with the traditional method and vinified in white with selected grapes of Pinot Noir. After softly pressing the grapes, fermentation is carried out at controlled temperature and the sparkling process in bottles starts in the spring following harvest. The base wine is left in contact with its yeasts for a minimum time of 18-24 months until disgorgement.

Its perlage is fine and persistent, the wine is a straw-yellow color with intense and developed aroma and balanced taste. It matches well with all dishes, from appetizers to desserts and it perfectly suits the menus of important occasions.

Torrazzetta, a organic certified winery since 1984, spreads on a 40 hectares land, 17 of which are dedicated to vineyard growing Pinot Noir, Barbera, Croatina and Chardonnay grapes.
Beside vineyards, the estate features wheat and maize cultures, an orchard and some wood. These lands provide all the raw materials to produce wines, grappa, vinegars, honeys and jams, as well as flours for homemade bread and pasta.
Since 1934, the property has been owned by the Fiori family, who transformed it from a mainly cereal producing farm by increasing the land for the vineyards and the orchard and they also built a winery for wine production.
